We’re delighted to have won Residential Developer of the Year at the Thames Valley Property Awards 2026. This award means a great deal to us because it recognises the approach we bring to every development. We believe good homes begin with an understanding of place. Each site has its own landscape, character and community, and our job is to create something that belongs there and will stand the test of time.
Over the past year, that approach has shaped a varied programme of work across Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire, from the completion of Manor Farm in Henton to developments in Wilstone, Oxford, Radley, Bodicote, Cublington and Downley. Each scheme is different, but all share our commitment to thoughtful design, quality and long-term value.
We’ve continued to explore better ways to build, including the use of TALO’s timber panel system at Moorings in Wilstone. We’ve also maintained our focus on energy-efficient homes, biodiversity and the spaces around our buildings. Through our partnership with Ox Place, we’ve helped deliver 40 affordable homes in Oxford.

Ian Ashcroft of Lucy Developments said: “We’re incredibly proud to receive this award. Our team puts a great deal of thought into every development, from understanding the setting and designing the homes to considering how the finished place will feel for the people who live there. It’s wonderful to see that work recognised across our portfolio. I’d like to thank our team and our partners for the care and commitment they bring to each project.”
Being named Residential Developer of the Year is a proud moment for all of us. It encourages us to keep doing what matters most: creating better places, not just more homes.
