Oxford Preservation Trust held their Awards Evening 2019 on the 5th of November. We were extremely pleased to be shortlisted for Halliday Lane in the categories of “New Building and Small Projects”.

This award looks at all new buildings and developments that demonstrate exceptional good design, and contribute to Oxford’s character, streets and green spaces. And help in conserving the best of Oxford’s past whilst creating a positive future for the city.

The site is a fantastic balance of new homes within the curtilage of the Old Manor House, a prominent Grade II listed 16th Century Farmhouse and a former riding school. Part of the design concept was to protect the views to and from the Old Manor House.

Halliday Lane made it to the final round of judging and was visited by the Oxford Preservation Trust Awards Panel. The panel was pleased to see the provision of much needed and characterful residential accommodation. Sadly on this occasion the project was not put forward for the next round.

Congratulations to all the projects which made it through and won an award. The full list of winners can be found at on the Oxford Preservation Trust website.
